Black Box Explains... Cross-pinned MTP cable.
Cross-pinned MTP cable.
Managing your MTP fiber infrastructure is easier when you use the cross-pinned trunk cable thats specially designed for our system.
Without this trunk cable, you would have to ensure that every patch cord plugged into the systems front is properly configured. Or youd need modules for both uncrossed and pair-crossed configurations.
It is, of course, far easier to simply cross the trunk cable. This way, your system requires just one module configuration and you can use off-the-shelf patch cords that plug into standard MT-RJ, LC, and SC duplex connectors without worrying about polarity.
